Installing the injection pump on a New Holland_b115 engine

STEP 1

2023 CASE New Holland Electronic Service Tools (CNH EST v9.7Up3) Engineering Diagnostic Software

Replace the gasket on the pump mounting flange.

STEP 2

Install the pump and tighten the three mounting nuts.

STEP 3

Install the lock washers and nuts and torque the nuts to 66-70 lb-ft (90-95 Nm) WARNING: When installing the nuts and washers, take care that they may fall inside the engine.

STEP 4

Apply Loctite 5205 to the surface of the cover plate and

Install the cover plate and install the bolts and tighten the bolts.

Step 5

Connect the wire to the temperature sensor.

Step 6

Connect the fuel supply line to the injector pump.

Step 7

Remove the covers from the lines and fittings. Fuel

Connect the injector lines (1), connect the fuel return line (2),

connect the boost line (3) to the pump.

Step 8

Install the CNH DPA5 Adapter New Holland Heavy Duty Mechanical Diagnostic Tool oil filler tube (3), mechanical fuel pump (2), and fuel filter (1)

on the engine.

Step 9

Install the injector line retaining bracket mounting

bolts.

STEP 10

Loosen the injector pump lock bolt,

install the slotted plate and tighten the lock bolt to 9-10 lb-ft

(12-14 Nm).

STEP 11

Make sure the lock pin is out of the gear.

STEP 12

Remove the engine turning tool and

install the starter.

STEP 13

If the machine has only one battery,

connect the negative battery cable to the battery and

install the battery cover.

STEP 14

Attach the ground cable (2) to the terminal.

Attach the jumper cable (3) to the terminal and

install the terminal nut (1) to the terminal.

Tighten the terminal nut.

STEP 15

Install the front rocker arm cover and injector line

retaining bracket mounting bolt.

Step 16

Install the throttle cable to the bracket and tighten the jam nut.

Step 17

Throttle arm installation

Install the two bolts and tighten them.

Connect the power lead to the injector pump.

Step 19

Activate the mechanical fuel pump lever to prime the fuel system.

Step 20

Start the machine and check for fuel leaks.
