The multifunction copier at my workplace, which I had been using for almost 11 years and 10 months, has finally handed over its role to the next generation and retired. I'm not the only one who uses it, so it should be more familiar to me if I'm used to it. A new function was added: a scanner. This function itself was available up until now, but it could not be used unless the driver was installed on the PC. However, this model has a USB memory and SD card slot on the touch panel, so you can insert the media and save directly. Although, originally, you can connect the printer and the PC directly via LAN, but I didn't do that because the environment is not quite ready. Or rather, other people will not be able to use it. And the printer driver came with a CD-ROM, so it was easy to install. However, the property setting screen had changed completely, so I was a little confused. Still, the things you can do are the same, but the name has changed, so I was able to print things like "kaihogen" in exactly the same way. So I compared the printouts with the printouts I made with the previous printer. The photos and other things hadn't changed much, but the text was completely different. The left is the new model, and the right is the old model. I printed the exact same file, but even though it was the same manufacturer, the results were so different when the model was changed.
